about

This album documents a process of sound exploration linked to daily experience and family life, creating music in collaboration with my three kids, my wife, and special guests. I aim to create a collection of songs that link modern technology and electronic aesthetics with folk tradition and music of earlier generations.

Special thanks to my co-commissioners on Kickstarter:
Andrew Ikenberry of Qu-Bit Electronix [shout out to the Qu-Bit Nano Rand module in my Eurorack system!], Brian Rinkoski & Eliana Lane, Ken Ueno, Du Yun, Abdullah Benabdallah, Anne Henslee, Molly Sheridan, Heide Grundmann, Robin Brunelle, Jacqueline Leung, Justin Allen, Ruby Fulton, Justin Miles, Matt Muirhead, Alan Tormey, Emily Bell, Judah Adashi, and Anonymous!
